The mobile world is full of rally nice devices. The competition of smartphone companies is still going on. Now pictures of a mysterious smartphone device, LG Fathom, placed on the internet. The new device will include Windows Mobile version 6.5.3.
The LG Fathom device
The LG Fathom smartphone is a nice looking Windows Mobile device that includes a touch screen. The smart phone got a sliding hardware keyboard for better and comfortable writing. It got a regular 3.2 mega pixel camera and 1 GHz of processor speed.
LG Fathom smart phone device will be available on stores on 3rd of June. That’s a lot of time and I think no one should ever preorder this device because until then the Windows Phone 7 smartphones will be released too. Anyway this WinMo device didn’t get any new specs.
Meanwhile, when smart phone devices are waiting for the Windows Mobile 7 operating system, HTC did not wait as all the cellular companies and released the HD Mini device. This smartphone designed to create a scale model of the HD2, which should contain similar features.

The HTC HD Mini smartphone comes with the new operating system from Microsoft, Windows Mobile 6.5, and contains the convenient Sense user interface. The device’s screen resolution is 320×480 pixels that does not compare to the quality of the WVGA screen of HD2 smart phone.
HTC did a nice job with her smart phone device’s camera that contains 5 megapixels. HD Mini also includes 384 MB of RAM that helps when running more Windows Mobile 6.5 applications simultaneously. The GPS receiver of the smartphone will always let you know where you are traveling and the Wifi will keep you connected to the Internet when you’re not at home.
The new smartphone from HTC really provides a wonderful experience and includes a welcome features. Despite all the good things I would not recommend buying the HD Mini because the Windows Mobile 7 operating system is already at the entrance and it worth to wait for new smart phone devices to come out.
The new operating system for smartphone from Microsoft, Windows Mobile 6.5, comes with the new devices already. WM 6.1 users will be disappointed to discover that the differences between the two operating systems are minor and will not improve the performance of the smart phone.

The considerable improvement in the smart phone’s operating system Windows Mobile 6.5 is a comfort. WM today screen was replaced with a finger friendly one. The menu got a new look also and the item scrolling in the smartphone became smoother.
Except for these changes Windows Mobile 6.5 remained as the earlier 6.1 version. Smartphone users who purchased a device with the new operating system probably will be disappointed. I hope that Microsoft keeps its forces for the upcoming WM7 smart phone devices but until then we’ll have to suffer.

HP iPAQ Glisten smart phone comes with a new operating system from Microsoft. Windows Mobile 6.5 contains an innovative design that every smartphone user will agree with me. In addition, the OS includes a new version of Office Mobile and the new Marketplace app.
The technical specifications of HP iPAQ Glisten smartphone are great. The device contains 528 MHz processor and 256MB of SDRAM. The smart phone has a large hardware keyboard that will make your mail typing easy. The new Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system is included as I mentioned before.
The only problem of HP iPAQ Glisten smart phone is that it doesn’t have a GPS receiver. The mistake will cause carrying a bulky Bluetooth receiver with the smartphone in order to enjoy Windows Mobile navigation apps like iGO 8 or Destinator.
One company I didn’t expect to hear from it is Toshiba but to my surprise, they released a new smart phone, combined with strong specifications and it comes with Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system. This 3g smartphone will include a future 6.5 version update of Microsoft’s operating system.
TG01 - A strong 3g smartphone
Toshiba TG01 smart phone focus is a fast processor it contains. 1 GHz processor is all what Windows Mobile user needs to survive. But that’s not all, this 3g smartphone contains a graphic accelerator too, that’s gives it an extra power to run games on the device.
TG01 smartphone has a very large screen – 4.1 inches that displays 480×800 of pure pixels – that’s wonderful. The device contains 256MB of Random Access Memory (RAM) that gives the device extra power for opening applications on Windows Mobile 6.1. Toshiba’s 3g smartphone also includes a GPS receiver that will provide you easy navigation on roads, and a 3.5 pixel camera that will give you a nice photo quality. The Bluetooth and WiFi are also built in.
Toshiba’s 3g smartphone really proved itself. Maybe it’s the processor speed or its large screen, but what is certain is that TG01 is the best Windows Mobile based smart phone that can be achieved this days.
The new Samsung’s smart phone, Omnia 2, is one of the best devices with Windows Mobile operating system. Omnia II includes powerful technical specifications and it also has impressive features.

This Windows Mobile smart phone comes with the new version 6.5. It comes with TouchWiz 2.0 interface of Samsung which causes Omnia 2 to be more convenient for users to operate. This smart phone comes with a prestigious design, exactly what WM users expect from these devices.
Omnia 2 smart phone has advanced technical specifications. It has WVGA screen with 480×800 pixels. A powerful 800 MHz processor will do the job when you’ll open multiple applications simultaneously on Windows Mobile. The smart phone’s 5 megapixels camera will make sure that all your memories will have amazing quality.
Despite all the advantages of Omnia 2 smart phone, Windows Mobile operating system does not allow applications to run smoothly, that’s too bad. Not Samsung or another company could face the fact that Microsoft should improve their operating system performance.
