If the rumor is true about installing apps on Windows Mobile 7, that’s the end of cracked smartphone software. The smart phones users will have to pay for any application they want to download. This feature was adopted by Apple’s iPhone device.

But despite all, this is still a rumor and smartphone device users that download cracked applications should not disqualify Windows Mobile 7 OS. Despite downloading software without a license is very common among smart phone users, I recommend you always buy legal apps.

Multitasking will not be possible on Windows Mobile 7 operating system. Switching between applications on the smartphone will cause the other apps to pause.   Applications can’t be installed from the memory card anymore. Installing new software on the smart phone will be allowed only through Microsoft Marketplace (like iPhone). WM7 will not support Flash; Microsoft is apparently not interested in user’s browsing experience.

The disadvantages of the smartphone operating system is very significant and I’m sure there will be more, but still from what is expected, Windows Mobile 7 operating system will be one of the most powerful smart phone OS. Do not judge the WM7 until it released to the market.
