Prevant scretches on you smartphone device

One of the problems in the touch screen of smart phones is that it fragile and easily scratched. Daily use of the smartphone will eventually make scratches on the screen and for that MYBAT released a unique stylus, which fixes you worry about scratches.

The highlight of this product is the materials it is made. The Stylus pen-point made of a hard rubber that prevents scratches and vulnerability of the touch screen of the smart phone that may be caused by inappropriate use with a stylus. It got also a shirt caught that enables easy carrying.

I highly recommend the use of the stylus for those who want to protect the smart phone’s touch screen and for those who want comfort on writing. The stylus is available for purchase on Wireless Ground web shop and come in several different colors: black, silver, blue and red to make all smartphone users satisfied.

By admin, May 28, 2010 09:02

Samsung, one of the best smartphone device’s companies released the Omnia 2 while a go. I was looking at the internet today searching for new Windows Mobile, Symbian and Android smart phone device and what I saw was unbelievable. Samsung changed the Omnia 2 device look.

The old Model of the Omnia 2

The new look of Omnia 2 smart phone is ugly for my opinion. The previous device navigation button was better then the new one. The finish of the older Omnia 2 smartphone prettier then the correct device but what can we do against Samsung?

I think the reason that Samsung changes the Omnia 2 smartphone navigation key is that the old device as a mouse and the new as arrows what makes it better for playing games. Anyway, this smart phone still got a strong technical specification and stays on the top with HTC HD2.

This great smartphone was supposed to run the Windows Phone 7 operating system duo its power but Microsoft said it didn’t got enough.

Still, the HTC HD2 smartphone rules the market of Windows Mobile devices. I will recommend you not to buy a new smart phone device until Windows Phone 7 will come out to the market. But until then, you have a lot of time to save money for your future device.

By admin, April 7, 2010 09:43

HTC%20HD2 Front & Back e HTC HD2 will not get Windows Mobile 7 OS upgrade

The best smartphone from HTC

The reason HTC HD2 will not get an update to the Windows Mobile 7 OS, Microsoft’s claim, is the lack of power in the technical specifications of this smart phone. Although the powerful technical specifications of this smartphone, it is not enough to run WM7.

In any case HTC HD2 is the best WM smartphone on the market. But apparently the device will stop being sold thanks to the disappointing opinion from Microsoft. Anyway the upcoming Windows Mobile 7 operating system will get much more powerful devices.

Such a move was expected from Microsoft that apparently wants to label all the upcoming smart phones that include Windows Mobile 7 operating system under this title. Anyway I will be the first to purchase a smartphone device with WM7 OS.

3 Tips for saving disk space on your WM smartphone

By admin, April 1, 2010 09:20

Windows Mobile is an operating system that consumes many resources from the smartphone. Users who are not aware to that at times can find themselves without a storage memory on the device. Here 3 tips to help you save space on your smart phone.

When you install an application on your Windows Mobile smartphone, you may want to install it on an external storage (Memory Card). In this way, the smart phone memory space remains free for important uses and system updates.

When you receive emails on your Windows Mobile smart phone, it is possible to store the attachments on a memory card instead of the main memory. The size of those files can get very large and catch all of the smartphone main storage.

If you have the application Opera installed on your Windows Mobile smartphone, set a path of the Catch folder in the memory card. If you can’t do it, always worry to clean the Catch folder to prevent lack of memory on the smart phone.

Advantage and disadvantage of small sized smartphone devices

By admin, March 24, 2010 09:37

In recent years, more cellular companies begin to market smart phone devices. As a result, the cell phones lose their value in the world, and everyone started buying a smartphone. To promote the design of the devices, companies have made small in size ones.

The small smartphone devices includes a smaller screen that offense enjoyment of multimedia content. The screen resolution may also be too low depending on the screen. Small devices tend to get warm because the electronic components are very crowded. Those smart phones may contain more low-specification at the expense of their size.

People who want a smartphone to give them high-level services like games, movies, Internet, etc., need to buy more massive device. Users who are important to them the smart phone’s external design, size, color, etc. should purchase a less advanced and more decorated device.

Open operating system and close OS for smartphone devices

By admin, March 23, 2010 09:46

As recently heard about smart phones, Symbian operating system is becoming open to increase competition in the smartphone field against Android and Windows Mobile. But what is really an open OS and what’s so special about it?

Open operating systems were created to create a market that will develop improvements and updates to the source code thus creating new features on a regular basis to the smartphone interface. Meanwhile, the only open OS there is for smart phone devices is Android.

Smart phone’s Windows Mobile and Symbian operating systems are still close. As a result, developers can not change the source code of these systems, but sooner or later they become open to not stay behind Android OS for the smartphone devices.

New smartphone came along – HTC HD Mini shows its power

The new smartphone from HTC

The HTC HD Mini smartphone comes with the new operating system from Microsoft, Windows Mobile 6.5, and contains the convenient Sense user interface. The device’s screen resolution is 320×480 pixels that does not compare to the quality of the WVGA screen of HD2 smart phone.

HTC did a nice job with her smart phone device’s camera that contains 5 megapixels. HD Mini also includes 384 MB of RAM that helps when running more Windows Mobile 6.5 applications simultaneously. The GPS receiver of the smartphone will always let you know where you are traveling and the Wifi will keep you connected to the Internet when you’re not at home.

The new smartphone from HTC really provides a wonderful experience and includes a welcome features. Despite all the good things I would not recommend buying the HD Mini because the Windows Mobile 7 operating system is already at the entrance and it worth to wait for new smart phone devices to come out.

Windows Mobile operating system didn’t have a lot of gaming, and designed to allow businessmen to be handled more conveniently. Recently, at the entrance of smart phone devices with this OS, games began popping up. Although if you ask me, The Symbian based smartphone games is much better.

Smartphone wifi vs laptop wi fi

By admin, February 8, 2010 10:26

Another feature recently added to smart phone devices is the wifi. Adding this feature to the devices increased the smartphone internet use because it saves the cost of mobile browsing. The wi fi receiver began its glory from the laptop computers.

Smartphone wifi vs laptop wi fi

The WiFi logo

Unfortunately, the wifi receivers of smart phone devices are not as strong as laptop computers and consume a lot of energy from the battery of the device. Laptop wi fi receiver can connect to a router from up to 80 meter against the smart phone’s receiver that connects from only 10 meters.

Using the wi fi feature of the smart phones does not pay off outside home and meant for home wireless internet connection only. Let’s hope the future smartphone wifi receivers will support far more as laptops to allow free browsing experience everywhere.

Many smartphone users saw the devices with non touch screen. These devices contain the Windows Mobile operating system as well. But what are really the differences between smart phones with touch screen and those who don’t have?

Windows Mobile is definitely a good operating system, and most of the smart phone users would agree with me. Devices without the touch screen designed to allow users to enjoy the properties of smartphones and keeping of normal cellular appearance.

smart phone without touch screen

You can send/receive emails, read Office files, browse the web browser and install the advanced third-party applications such as Windows Mobile smart phones with touch screen. Smartphone without touch screen is more resistant to breaking and is usually smaller then devices with touch screen.

The only drawback of smart phone without touch screen is the lack of applications that designed for it. It turns out that most third-party programs are designed for Windows Mobile smartphones with touch screen. Now make your decision what device is more suitable for you.

iPAQ 900 smartphone overview – new business smart phone from HP

By admin, January 25, 2010 11:20

HP is a company known in the field of Windows Mobile smart phones. iPAQ series, that began even before Compaq and HP joined, surprising every time with it smartphone designing but not with technical specifications.

iPAQ 900 smart phone

iPAQ 900 smartphone - sleek design

iPAQ 900 is a new smartphone from HP that shows itself as Business Messenger. You’d be surprised that it’s really its only ability because this Windows Mobile smart phone does not contain high technical capabilities and even it does not have built in GPS.

iPAQ 900 smartphone comes with Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard that includes the range of applications that come with this operating system. HP also added the Voice Commander software to enable voice navigation in the smart phone.

The technical specification of the iPAQ 900 is disappointing, but users of Windows Mobile who like design, this smart phone is designed as a business device. HP’s smartphone includes easy operating hardware keyboard and a stylus that will help you navigate onscreen. It has a nice processor speed of 416 MHz and 128MB of RAM. iPAQ 900 has disappointing screen resolutions of 320×240 pixels and the camera is only 3 megapixels.

HP isn’t a good competitor of Windows Mobile based smart phones but in terms of design is certainly among the leaders. I do not recommend purchasing the device but only if you are interested in the design of iPAQ 900 smartphone.

By admin, January 21, 2010 10:13

One company I didn’t expect to hear from it is Toshiba but to my surprise, they released a new smart phone, combined with strong specifications and it comes with Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system. This 3g smartphone will include a future 6.5 version update of Microsoft’s operating system.

The new smartphone from Toshiba

TG01 - A strong 3g smartphone

Toshiba TG01 smart phone focus is a fast processor it contains. 1 GHz processor is all what Windows Mobile user needs to survive. But that’s not all, this 3g smartphone contains a graphic accelerator too, that’s gives it an extra power to run games on the device.

TG01 smartphone has a very large screen – 4.1 inches that displays 480×800 of pure pixels – that’s wonderful. The device contains 256MB of Random Access Memory (RAM) that gives the device extra power for opening applications on Windows Mobile 6.1. Toshiba’s 3g smartphone also includes a GPS receiver that will provide you easy navigation on roads, and a 3.5 pixel camera that will give you a nice photo quality. The Bluetooth and WiFi are also built in.

Toshiba’s 3g smartphone really proved itself. Maybe it’s the processor speed or its large screen, but what is certain is that TG01 is the best Windows Mobile based smart phone that can be achieved this days.

Omnia smartphone - don't buy!

When Omnia was released to the market, the smartphone introduced itself as an advanced Windows Mobile 6.1 device that comes with amazing features. In fact it’s true. Samsung really released a device that provided the needs of the Windows Mobile users, but they did not know that there is a critical issue of the touch screen of the device.

At the first few months of using Samsung’s smart phone, the device is not causing trouble. But eventually the right corner of the touch screen will stop responding to finger clicks. If your Omnia still have warranty, the lab will replace your Windows Mobile device screen but if it is over, you’ll have to pay between 200$ to 300$ to get a new screen for your I900 smartphone.

iPhone 3Gs – is it actually a smart phone?

By admin, January 15, 2010 14:45

When iPhone 3Gs has been released to the market, many smartphone users were disappointed from the stupidity of the articles who said iPhone is the most advanced device. I went out to investigate whether iPhone is really a smart phone as stated.

Apple's new smart phone device

Apple's smartphone

The user interface of Apple’s iPhone 3Gs is really spectacular. Clicking on screen is causing to very fast responding time thanks to the powerful processor that included in the smart phone. The iPhone comes with a built-in GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth. In addition, this smartphone has a particularly impressive selection of applications.

Despite all the benefits of Apple’s iPhone 3Gs, I discovered some very significant disadvantages. These shortcomings significantly affect the iPhone because they included on every smart phone this days.

I didn’t expect to find that an advanced smart phone device like the iPhone 3Gs is missing an expansion slot. Card slot is the most basic feature for smartphones. Disadvantage of this method makes backup of data cumbersome. In addition, it is impossible to use the iPhone as a mass storage device. This feature is very important for smartphones to save the need for an external volume. It’s impossible to transfer files that aren’t supported by the device and you can transfer files only through the iTunes application.

After my investigation on the iPhone 3Gs, I really doubt if Apple created a smart phone or a toy. What do you say?

Feature of Omnia 2 mobile phone – one of the best smart phones

By admin, January 13, 2010 14:32

The new Samsung’s smart phone, Omnia 2, is one of the best devices with Windows Mobile operating system. Omnia II includes powerful technical specifications and it also has impressive features.

The Omnia 2 smart phone

The Omnia 2 smart phone

This Windows Mobile smart phone comes with the new version 6.5. It comes with TouchWiz 2.0 interface of Samsung which causes Omnia 2 to be more convenient for users to operate. This smart phone comes with a prestigious design, exactly what WM users expect from these devices.

Omnia 2 smart phone has advanced technical specifications. It has WVGA screen with 480×800 pixels. A powerful 800 MHz processor will do the job when you’ll open multiple applications simultaneously on Windows Mobile. The smart phone’s 5 megapixels camera will make sure that all your memories will have amazing quality.

Despite all the advantages of Omnia 2 smart phone, Windows Mobile operating system does not allow applications to run smoothly, that’s too bad. Not Samsung or another company could face the fact that Microsoft should improve their operating system performance.

Pocket PC or smartphone – what should I use?

By admin, January 12, 2010 10:01

Windows Mobile users always ask themselves what is more appropriate for them. Some users prefer the Pocket PC that allows managing information efficiently and some prefer the smartphone that lets all of that plus the phone function.

Windows Mobile based smart phones really proved themselves in recent years but many smartphone users do not get used to device phone feature. The solution is to buy a Pocket PC and a simple phone to save your headache.

So as we understood Pocket PC device includes features like a smartphone: Windows Mobile OS, Word, Excel, Bluetooth, WiFi and more. The only feature that is lacking is the phone function. The price differences are very significant! Smart phone price is higher by about 300$ then the ppc.

In conclusion I recommend everyone that uses Windows Mobile to check what device he needs: Pocket PC or smartphone. It’s very important to save your money!

LG Incite smartphone – the first LG’s smartphone released

By admin, January 4, 2010 15:21

LG released its first smartphone and not impressed us with the capabilities of the device. LG could have done more considering the companies competition of Windows Mobile smart phone devices.

The new Windows Mobile smartphone from LG

The new Windows Mobile smartphone from LG

The smart phone – LG Incite comes with Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional and includes exclusive Plugin – LG Touch. In addition, Incite comes with a grid menu similar to the previous phones. It has a large convenient virtual keyboard but unfortunately it takes the most of the screen of the smartphone.

The hardware specifications of LG Incite are not impressive. It includes processor at speed of 528 MHz and 128MB of RAM. It has Bluetooth and WiFi that you can find already on all Windows Mobile 6.1 smart phones. Incite has a 3-inch screen that displays at a resolution of 240×400 pixels, like Samsung Omnia. it has a 3.15 megapixel camera and GPS of course.

LG disappointed me greatly with their smart phone. I would not recommend anyone to purchase the device. The smartphone market has much more powerful devices than Incite.

But that’s not all. The screen has 480×800 pixels, that’s a lot for a Windows mobile phone.
