I have been looking in XDA Developers forum today and I found out a new version of TCPMP media player for Windows Mobile smart phone devices. This app, for anyone who doesn’t know, is the best player for WM smartphone.

TCPMP for Windows Mobile smartphone devices was an earlier freeware release of Coreplayer app. This player supports almost every video/audio file format including AVI, MPEG, WMV, OGG and much more. Its only problem was the lack of subtitles support on the smart phone.

The new version of TCPMP comes with a finger friendly user interface that makes the menu navigation easier on the Windows Mobile smartphone. In addition, the app contains support for WVGA and WQVGA screens that grew common in times past. Also displaying subtitles on the smart phone has become possible thanks to this version.

Unfortunately, AC3 audio is still unsupported by TCPMP so Windows Mobile smart phone users will have to wait more. If you want to download the new version to your smartphone you can visit the post on XDA Developers. You’ll have to register before downloading the app.
